Building a Safe, Walkable, & Aesthetically Pleasing Environment

Downtown Brighton did not happen over night. All of the improvements evident throughout the DDA district have been strategically planned out and put in place one piece at a time. Downtown Brighton is a very safe and walkable community due to the efforts of the DDA and City. Enjoy a stroll along the Tridge, wide sidewalks, and feel safe crossing the streets.

All of these improvements have greatly impacted the aesthetics of the community, especially the downtown. Brick paver crosswalks & corners, streetlights, and the DDA flower program (to be expanded this year) have helped create an ambiance perfect for shopping and dining, working, starting a business, or just plain hanging out.
